Margaret Faliano (she/her) is a citizen of the Chippewa Cree Nation and a model, narrative & communications strategist, and speaker based on Lenapehoking land in the metropolitan area of New York City.

She is a multitalented professional trained and educated in business and strategic communications for 9 years and counting. She has created, modeled, performed, consulted, styled, presented, and managed.

When she’s not networking and guiding narrative change strategy, Margaret amplifies contemporary Native representation through her involvement in the fashion world: modeling, styling, and generating publicity for many Native designers, models, makeup artists, and more. By aligning her values with this initiative, Margaret says that “modeling helps [her] take part in shifting the narrative of what today’s perception of Native people look like, in all avenues.”

Margaret has taken to the runway for notable Indigenous or First Nations designers, such as Kayla LookingHorse, Patricia Michaels, and M.O.B.I.L.I.Z.E.

Latest Project

Santa Fe Indian Market (SFIM) is the largest and most prestigious Indigenous art market in the world. Presented by the Southwestern Association for Indian Arts (SWAIA), SFIM25 held two fashion shows on August 16–17, 2025, in the heart of downtown Santa Fe, New Mexico, where Margaret modeled for Patricia Michaels and Jontay Kahm.
